Snowmaker Days – enthusiastic delegates meet up in Italy, Switzerland, Australia, Spain, Austria and France

TechnoAlpin held several Snowmaker Days in Italy, France, Spain, Austria, Australia and Switzerland throughout March. Enthusiasts and experts came together to share their passion for snow, discover TechnoAlpin’s state-of-the-art technology and attend fascinating talks and presentations. They all gathered together to learn more about TechnoAlpin’s product and software innovations as well as the latest strategies for further developing and expanding snow systems in the host ski areas - long-standing TechnoAlpin customers.

The Italian Snowmaker Days were spread out over two exhilarating days and attracted 100 participants in total. On Day 1, the groups gained an insight into rifle shooting and other biathlon events at the Biathlon Center in Forni (Udine) followed by an exciting presentation from the “Promoturismo FVG” (regional tourist board) in Tarvisio. On Day 2, some delegates visited the Tarvisio slopes while others took the opportunity to explore the ski resort’s pumping station and learn all about the TR9 from experts including Juris Panzani and Paolo Bagozzi, who also held a question and answer session.

The Swiss Snowmaker Day was held in Verbier and attracted 200 enthusiastic participants. The snow resort’s latest projects were proudly showcased: 433 pits installed in the last 10 years with a pumping capacity of 2000 m³/h and over 20 km of pipelines with 10 km of DN400 loops. Several groups of delegates took in the picturesque scenery of the Verbier 4 Vallées slopes and welcomed the opportunity to familiarize themselves with innovative technologies such as lo-Link, ATASSpro, SNOWMASTER and xelom.

Snowmaker Days were also held in France and Spain, in Châtel and Sierra Nevada, respectively. In Châtel, 125 delegates from 35 different ski resorts eagerly explored the venue while 65 high-profile delegates from Spain, Andorra and France attended the Sierra Nevada event.

The Austrian and German Snowmaker Days were held this week at the Wilder Kaiser ski resort in Ellmau. Delegates enjoyed an exciting day of presentations focusing on the latest TA products. Enthralling presentations were given by Jonas Breitenberger from Clair and Christian Zimmermann from xelom, amongst others.

Some of Australia's Snowmaker Days were held this week with more scheduled for next week, bringing all interested parties together in their passion for snow. Our latest product ranges will once again be presented, knowledge exchanged and questions answered.

The TechnoAlpin Snowmaker Days not only provided an opportunity to pool knowledge and discover state-of-the art technology, but also created a forum where delegates could share their passion for snow and talk about the winter season to their hearts’ content. The mix of training sessions, presentations and practical experience certainly gave delegates an unforgettable insight into the fascinating world of TechnoAlpin.
