Snowmaker Days Italy 2026: Insights into Milano Cortina 2026
The Snowmaker Days Italy took place in Bormio and Livigno on March 24 and 25. Around 130 participants from Italian ski areas gathered to discuss current developments in snowmaking and gain exclusive insights into the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.
The event kicked off on Tuesday in Bormio, where an aperitif provided a setting for networking and personal exchange ahead of a series of specialist presentations. These included updates on the construction of the new snowmaking system on the iconic Stelvio slope, as well as insights into the snowmaking infrastructure playing a central role in the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. In addition, xelom, a company within the TechnoAlpin Group, showcased its all-electric snow groomers. A shared dinner afterwards offered an ideal opportunity for continued discussions and exchange.
On the second day, participants gathered in Livigno, where they gained insights into the region’s development in connection with the 2026 Winter Olympics. They then hit the slopes together, continuing the professional exchange in a relaxed atmosphere.
The Snowmaker Days Italy offered an ideal platform for knowledge transfer, personal meetings, and industry exchange, embedded in the impressive mountain landscape of Bormio and Livigno.
