Welding shop at TechnoAlpin: Precision meets quality
The heart of modern snowmaking systems is produced in the TechnoAlpin welding shop in Bolzano – with the highest precision, expertise and cutting edge technology. Here, all piping elements are manufactured, inspected and prepared for installation precisely following the project plan.
A distinct advantage: Thanks to complete in-house production in our workshop certified to ISO 3834-2, we guarantee not only the highest production quality, but also maximum flexibility. Especially in the summer months, production runs at full speed – every component is manufactured with millimeter precision so that it fits perfectly later in the machine room or on the construction site itself. This precise prefabrication significantly reduces assembly times and ensures that our customers can take delivery of their snowmaking systems on time and ready for use.
The TechnoAlpin welding team combines experience, expertise and state-of-the-art equipment. The result: Components that can meet even the highest demands under Alpine conditions.
Since the beginning of the year, around 260 tons of material have been processed in the welding shop – equivalent to almost 3,000 single parts being produced for current orders. Of these, 170 tons, i.e. around 1,800 parts, have already been delivered to construction sites and assembled. Remarkable: The heaviest single part to date showed 1,240 kilograms on the scale in 2025.
The impressive production volumes illustrate the efficiency of the welding shop – a crucial success factor to the success of international projects.
