Verbier renforce son enneigement !

Le 3 novembre dernier l’exploitant du domaine skiable de Verbier 4 Vallées (Valais, Suisse) a commencé la production de neige avec sa nouvelle installation d’enneigement sur le secteur du Lac des vaux. Initié en 2021, ce projet d’enneigement est conduit en mode « clé en mains » par les équipes de TechnoAlpin, avec la construction d’une nouvelle installation d’enneigement comprenant 59 abris, équipés de 48 enneigeurs ventilateurs TT10 et 11 lances V3.

Pour renforcer globalement la gestion de la ressource en eau d’enneigement sur le domaine skiable et les différents secteurs de Verbier, 9800m de conduite d’eau, essentiellement en DN300 et DN400 ont été posés. L’objectif étant de réaliser à terme un bouclage de la ressource en eau avec le secteur de Savoleyre, afin d’optimiser la distribution de l’eau lors des phases de production. Dans cette perspective, un nouveau forage a été réalisé dans le lac à une profondeur de 7m. Challenge et particularité de cette opération : les travaux ont été mis en œuvre avec le lac plein !

La nouvelle installation du lac des Vaux est alimentée par une station de gavage et une station de pompage, comportant avec deux départs d’eau pour un débit total de 400l/s (1 440m3/h). Pour la partie air et l’alimentation des lances V3, une nouvelle station de compression d’air avec 2 compresseurs Kaeser 110kW complète le dispositif.

En outre, pour rendre la production de neige plus sobre en énergie, tous les nouveaux abris d’enneigement ont été équipés d’un dispositif de chauffage intelligent (pour prévenir les risques de gel). Cette innovation permet de réduire la consommation électrique de l’installation et ainsi économiser plusieurs milliers de kilowatt par saison, tout en assurant un fonctionnement optimal et sécurisé de la production de neige.

Après une phase initiale concluante de test, l’équipe d’enneigement de Verbier a commencé la campagne de production 2022, le 3 novembre afin de garantir l’ouverture de ce secteur pour le début de la saison.

Nous sommes sont très fiers de la belle relation de confiance que nous avons établi avec l’exploitant, la société Téléverbier, qui a choisi les solutions innovantes de TechnoAlpin depuis 2009 pour assurer l’enneigement sur les pistes de Verbier 4 Vallées !
